Karma Disinfectant Surface Sanitizer is a sodium hypochlorite product. It has many applications as a sanitizer: in commercial laundry, in various water systems, and in many food plant processes. Material Compatibility: Suitable materials of construction for tanks, pumps, and piping include: Polypropylene, polyethylene, titanium, PVC. Gaskets materials include: Teflon, Viton, PVC, or polypropylene. Instruction Uses: It can be used in food processing areas to sanitize nonporous food contact surfaces, porous food contact surfaces, clean inplace equipment, clean out of place parts and eggs. It can also be used to disinfect nonporous nonfood contact surfaces. Safe Handling and Storage Instructions: Sodium hypochlorite solutions are meta-stable. They slowly degrade in storage, releasing oxygen and reverting to aqueous solutions of sodium chloride (common salt). Exposure to elevated temperatures, metals, dissolved metal ions, and light will result in accelerated deterioration and reduced shelf life. For maximum shelf life, store this product in a cool location in opaque storage containers. Avoid contact with metals, and do not mix with any other chemicals. Precautions: Keep out of the reach of children.
