USB has become the de facto medium for handheld device power. Unfortunately, most devices want more than the 5 volts500 milliamps that the original USB spec calls for. Smartronixs USB Power Meter can tell you exactly how much current a smartphone, tablet or other device can suck down... or how little a USB port can deliver. The LCD shows the ports precise voltage (between -19.99V and 19.99V) and the exact current flow (up to 1,999mA). Use peak mode to show only the highest values during the test.
